I keep watching TED video and learning from it.

It's really helpful to me cuz, the expressions from the address seem to be used in daily life

and I can feel and understand its nuance and meaning with its a specific situation.

here, another TED video I watched.

크리스티 젠드론(Christi Gendron): 오감이 기대 수명에 미치는 영향
https://www.ted.com/talks/christi_gendron_the_science_of_lifespan_and_the_impact_of_your_five_senses?language=ko

- this may seem extraordinary, but it really isn't.

- Let's say that you wake up one morning.

- You hear that the birds are chirping.

- It also can affect your emotions as well as how your body physically responds.

- You see the terrified look on the riders' faces.

- feelings that are associated with butterfilies in your stomach, a racing heartbeat, even sweating plams.

- This is an example of how a very short sensory perceptive event can impact you.

- prolonged sensory events can impact the lifespan of an animal.

- what do they have to do with me?

- all respond in terms of changing their lifespan when exposed to a specific environmental cue

- This suggests that those underlying biological processes that drive those changes are similar.

- This is something that would be pretty difficult at best, and unethical at worst.

- Also known as the fruit fly.

- we can easily activate or inhibit specific neuron cells or even the activities of specific molecules.

- I'm the first to admit.

- my belief is biased.

- I'm going to highlight one in particular, and that is death perception.

- as a result of stressful situations surrounding death.

- this could impact soldiers and first responders.

- If I take a vial of flies and I put dead in there,

- they are getting an infection. and that's what's causing them to die.

- If I do the experiment under sterile or infection-free conditions,

- This is causing all those biological changes.

- We turned out attention toward trying to understand it.

- In order for us to develop therapies ..

- on that note, I'd like to leave you with a happy perceptive expericence,

in the hopes that this positively impacts your life.
