그는 내가 그에게 인사를 건네러 와서 무척 놀랜 듯 하다.

내 수준보다 조금 쉬운 글을 계속 읽는게 언어를 배우는 가장 빠른 길이라고 한다.

친구의 조언을 적극 받아들여, 이제부터는 영어 연설이나 기사 등을 가져와서 읽어보려고 한다.
